Sri Krishna Chaitanya Matha (Sridham Vrindavan)
Srila Prabhupada established many monasteries throughout the Vraja Mandala. Sri Krishna Chaitanya Matha is one of its instances. This temple is located at Kishoripura near Banke Bihari. On 15th November 1926 AD Sri Guru Gauranga Radha Damodara Jiu entered the temple. These deities was being worshipped in the rented house of Mathura Gaudiya Mathalaya.
Braja Svananda Sukhada Kunja (Sri Radhakunda)
This place belongs to Sri Lalita Kunda, near Sri Radha Kunda. Here Srila Prabhupada established the pushpa samadhi temple of Thakura Bhaktivinoda. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura identified himself as Kamala Manjari under Lalita Sakhi. For this reason, Srila Prabhupada established his pushpa samadhi here. In this temple Thakura Bhaktivinoda is worshipped regularly.
Sesha Shayi (Hodal, Gurgaon, Punjab)
There is a large lake named Rasa samudra near Koshi under Brajamandal in Mathura district. The temple of Sesha Shayi is located at the bank of this lake. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu visited this place. Chaitanya Charitamrita and Bhakti Ratnakara have a detailed account on this. The presiding deity of this temple is Sesha Shayi (a form of Narayana sleeping on the coil of Sesha). The deity has four hands holding conch, disc, club and lotus. The Lord is sleeping on the Sesha Naga. Goddess Lakshmi is serving Him. During the Vraja Mandala Parikrama during 1339 Bengali Era, Srila Prabhupada visited this place accompanied by his close associates. As per the instruction of Srila Prabhupada this ancient pilgrimage was renovated on 1935. And a branch of Gaudiya matha, Goshtha Vihari Gaudiya Matha was established here. Srila Prabhupada installed the deities of Sri Guru Gauranga Radha Giridhari.
Sri Radha Kunda Gostha Vati (Sri Radha Kunda)
Srila Prabhupada introduced some more sevas in Vraja Mandala through the Vraja Dhama Pracarini Sabha. One of them is Sri Radha Kunda Gostha Vati at Sri Radha Kunda.
Nandagram Gaudiya Mathalaya (Nandagram)
Through the Vraja Dhama Pracarini Sabha, Srila Prabhupada established Sri Nandagram Gaudiya mathalaya at Nandagram.
Varshana Gaudiya Mathalaya (Varshana)
Srila Prabhupada established Sri Varshana Gaudiya mathalaya in Varshana through Sri Vraja Dhama Pracharini Sabha.
Sanketa Vihari Matha (Sri Sanket)
Srila Prabhupada established Sanketa Vihari Matha at Sanket through the Vraja Dhama Pracarini Sabha. Here he installed the deities of Sri Radha Sanketa Vihari.
Sri Govardhan Kutira (Govardhan)
Srila Prabhupada established Govardhana kutira at Govardhan through the Vraja Dhama Pracarini Sabha.
Sri Bhakti Kuti (Bhajana Sthana of Thakura Bhaktivinoda, Puri)
In 1902 when Vimala Prasad (Srila Prabhupada) was in Brahmacharya phase, visited Puri with Thakura Bhaktivinoda. During this period he started the construction of “Bhakti Kuti” as the bhajana sthana for Thakura Bhaktivinoda near the samadhi of Haridasa Thakura by the sea.
Later on 9th June 1922 A.D. (26th Jaisthya 1329 Bengal AD; 436 Gaura era 29 Trivikrama), on the day of Snana Yatra a matha was established at ‘Sri Bhakti Kuti’ amidst grand sankirtan. On that day a deity of Gauranga Mahaprabhu was installed there. They deity represents the Vipralambha rasa.
Purushottam Matha (Chatak Mountain, Puri)
As per Srila Prabhupada’s desire a piece of land was collected at Chataka mountain adjacent to Gaurbatsahi. On 17 July 1932 Sri Purushottam Matha was established there. The deities of “Sri Sri Gaura Gadadhara Vinoda Madhava Jiu”. Prabhupada also installed the deities of Sri Vyasadeva and Sri Madhvacharya and arranged their daily worship.
Brahma Gaudiya Math (Alalnath)
On Friday 17th May, 1929 AD in the presence of Srila Prabhupada, the foundation of the Alalanath Sri Brahmagaudiya Math was initiated. And the temple renovation work continued. Later, on 27th June 1931 AD Srila Prabhupada established Sri Sri Gaudiyanath and Gopi Gopinath deities. Lord Sri Alavaranatha Himself came to Srila Prabhupada in the form of a small beautiful deity to receive Srila Prabhupada’s service. The Lord instructed His servant in a dream. That deity is still being served in the Sri Brahma Gaudiya Math.
Tridandi Math (Bhubaneswar)
Following the instruction of Srila Prabhupada, on 7th July 1924, Monday, Srimad Bhakti Pradipa Tirtha Maharaja laid the foundation stone of the Tridandi Matha near the Ananta Vasudeva Temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Later on Monday 3rd July 1933, Srila Prabhupada visited that place along with his associates. He installed the deities of
Sri Sri Gaurasundara and Sri Sri Gandharvika Giridhari.
Srila Prabhupada’s blessed associate Sriyukta Krishnaprasad Das Bhaktibhushana bore all the expenses for the construction of temples and installation of the deities.
Sacchidananda Matha (Cuttack)
On 3rd July 1928, Srila Prabhupada established the Satchidananda Math by installing the deities of Sri Gauranga and Sri Vinoda Ramana Jiu in a house adjacent to Oriyabazar in Cuttack. Later, on 15th February 1933, a local rich man Sriyukta Chintamani Nayak Mahasaya received a dream from Lord Krishna and donated his huge land with a coconut grove and a pond near Uriyabazar Academic School. The monastery was built on that land and the deities went there.
Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math (Dumurkonda, Chirkunda, Manbhum)
On Saturday 17th September 1927, the ancient Sri Radharman temple at Dumurkonda in Manbhum district was handed over to the Sri Gaudiya Math by the local management committee. Srila Prabhupada named this temple as Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math. Srila Prabhupada went to that place and spoke about Sriman Mahaprabhu’s teachings.
Sarbhog Gaudiya Math (Sarbhog, Assam)
On Sunday 15th March 1936 AD, Srila Prabhupada inaugurated the newly built temple namely Sri Sarbhog Gaudiya Matha. The deities of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharbika Giridhar were installed. After the installation of the deities, a nagara sankirtan procession was held in a large scale with the participation of all devotees. The next day, Tuesday, in the assembly Srila Prabhupada delivered Harikatha to everyone.
