Answer: Pure devotees of the Lord come to this world to shower their mercy on all living beings.  They do not have any personal material duties. They need not come to this material world. The compassionate devotees take the responsibility of transforming the adverse interest of living beings. If we lose the essence of our human existence, turn away from the Supreme Lord, stay unenthusiastic and ignorant towards the direct service of the Lord which is harinaam sankirtan, the sole religion of this era- Kaliyug. All our efforts to feed the hungry and educate the illiterate are considered animalistic and futile.
