The prime purpose of Vaishnava Rajasabha was to establish and protect the theory and the followers on the philosophical point of view. Philosophically he vividly analyzed the theory and properly established the theory. He discarded all the fallacy of philosophy (which is against the theory) in his books like _Shat Sandarbha_etc.
  1. The intention of Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur: After re-establishing the Vaishnav Rajsabha in 399 Chaitanyabda, Chaitanya era, he observed the appearance ceremony of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in next year, that is in 400 Chaitanyabda. He wrote many books on shuddha bhakti and started Naamhatta propaganda, and preached norms and techniques for establishing the Vaishnav cult.
  1. The intention of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur :
  • He established Gaudiya Math and Mission all over the globe.
  • He encouraged the young generation to observe Brahmacharya, the celibacy and deployed them in Bhagwat seva, the service of Lord Krishna.
  • He established the universal fraternity with the strength of the eternal knowledge, that is Atmadharma/ Swarupdharmo, the actual constitutional position of the living entity.
  • He distributed many Sanskrit and Bengali books, like Srimad-Bhagavatam, Vedanta-kalpadrum, Sat-Sandarbha, Vaishnav-Manjusha, Bhakti-Rasamrita-Sindhu, Baldev Gita, Sri Chaitanya-Charitamrita at a subsidized price.

Some points discussed in Vaishnava Vaishnav-Rajasabha:

Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur preached the three-fold Param Dharma, the absolute duty:

  • Jive daya
  • Name Ruchi
  • Vaishnav Shevan

Food is one of our bodily needs. Food for life is indispensable for the protection of our bodies. For protection and purification of our body and soul, every living entity must take prasadam, offered food. Provision and motivation for taking prasadam are called Jive daya. The cause of suffering is the violation of prasadam. Living entity violates the rule of God due to the loss of their eternal relationship with God and suffering. The teachings, which revives the lost relationship with God, are called Hari-jnan and Hari-Shiksha. Giving these teachings is also Jive data. When someone, by the mercy of pure devotees, gets  Jive daya , gets the test of the holy name, that is Name Ruchi.

When someone starts to serve Hari-Guru-Vaishnav, then he starts to develop his constitutional position that is absolute daya , the mercy. Vaishnav Rajasabha has started the project to spread the Param Dharam, the absolute form of service and the absolute form of knowledge, all over the world; and appealed to participate with this activity to achieve the success of the human form of life.

Summary of the lecture of Srila Prabhupada at Vishva Vaishnava Rajsabha

The eternal Vaishnav Rajasabha manifested thrice in this mundane world after the disappearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to illuminate the world of Sudha-Bhakti, pure devotion. After 11 years of the disappearance of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the six Goswamis, the stars, illuminated the sky of Vaishnav Rajasabha and served Sri Gour Chandra at Braja-Mandal-Dham. Except for these six Goswami, there were 64 Goswami, the precious ornament, including the 12 associates of Nityananda Prabhu whose Naam-hatta is the mainstream of Vaishnav Rajsabha.

Sri Chaitanya Dev himself is Vishva Vaishnav Raj, the Lord Sri Krishna. He is the savior of kali yuga, he is the teacher of Sambandha Jnan, he is the Avatar, the incarnation, of abhidhey , He is the incarnation of prayojanam. His disciples are Vishwa Vaishnav Rajasabha, the Gour-bhaktagan, the followers of Sri Chaitanya. The leaders of these Rajasabha are Sri Rupa Goswami and Sri Sanatan Goswami, the Reverend elder brother of Sri Rupa Goswami. Those who identify themselves as the followers of Sri Rupa Goswami are the members of Vaishnav rajasabha. The best of them are Srimat Jiva Goswami and Sri Sri Prabhupada Srimat Das Goswami.

After the disappearance pastime of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Srimat Jiva Goswami Prabhu preached Sri Bhagwat Dharma under the disciplic succession of Sri Rupa and Sri Sanatan Goswami. Sri Jiva Goswami, The supremo of this Vaishnav rajasabha, delivered the rules and guidance for bhakti, constituted by Sri Rupa Goswami, which is called as Bhagwat-Sandarbha /Sat-Sandarbha. This Bhagwat-Sandarbha /Sat-Sandarbha is strictly followed by the members of Vaishnav rajasabha as the direct guidance of Sri Rupa Goswami to develop the bhakti. Following this guidance of Sri Rupa Goswami, Srimad Raghunath Das Goswami Prabhu Maharaj gave the celestial bhajan pranali to the followers of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu which is very relevant and significant. Taking the shelter of the Lotus feet of Sri Rupa Goswami and Sri Raghunath Goswami,  Sri Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami, the king of devotees, served this sabha as a leader. Later on, Sri Narottam Das Thakur leads this Vaishnav Raj Saha. Later on, Sri Vishwanath Chakravarti Thakur and other leaders illuminated this sabha. To Triumph over the darkness in this world, the illuminated stars of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in the sky of Vaishnav Rajasabha.

399 Gourabda, after 399 years of the disappearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, an illuminated star appeared in the sky of Vaishnav Rajasabha. He illuminated the world by the sweet rays of bhakti like the eyes of Sri Gour Chandra.
